Literature can be of enormous importance in creating context and cohesion in a hopeless situation and in an incomprehensible world. In the magazine 20TAL’s newly published issue ”Resistance & Humanity”, the editorial team, in collaboration with guest editor Kholod Saghir, has collected unique texts by great Palestinian writers from both Palestine and Israel and other countries, highlighting the experiences of the vulnerable, the voices and words of the human beings, those who disappear under the ruins, in the destruction, the annihilation. Several texts have been written especially for the issue and provide a rare and invaluable insight into Palestinian literature and the lives of ordinary people.
Uppsala International Literature Festival 2025 will conclude with readings from the issue of poetry and prose that have never before been heard in Sweden.
