In his book ”The Facts”, the Swedish poet and author Johannes Anyuru has tried to remedy the ”post-factual condition” that determines the discourse around Israel’s warfare in the Gaza Strip. The book summarizes the essence of South Africa’s indictment submitted to the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and at the same time includes poems by Palestinian poets who have fallen victim to the bombs.
The author and journalist Göran Rosenberg, who has himself been very active in discussions about the war and has written several works about the state of Israel, talks here with Anyuru about his work on the book.
